Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has admitted he is worried by his side’s lack of game management, ahead of this weekend’s showdown with Celtic in the Betfred Cup Final.
The Ibrox side looked on course for all three points in tonight’s Premiership clash against Aberdeen after goals from Scott Arfield and Ryan Jack had them 2-0 ahead inside 35 minutes.
But Jon Gallagher made it 2-1 before the half-time whistle, against the run of play, and the Dons levelled things up through Andy Considine just after the break, and held on to collect a point in a hard-fought second-half.
Drawing 2-2 after being 2-0 ahead, regardless of the venue, will be seen as two points dropped by Gerrard and his players, and the Gers gaffer admitted as much as he spoke to Sky Sports after the full-time whistle:
Rangers meet bitter rivals Celtic on Sunday at Hampden Park, as the first slice of silverware is handed out in Scotland this season, but who do you see coming out on top?
