Celtic’s Eboue Kouassi Pictured by Belgian Media Training with Genk

Celtic midfielder Eboue Kouassi appears to be heading for the Parkhead exit door – after he was pictured training with Belgian side Genk.

The 22-year-old has failed to break into the Hoops first-team ever since making his £3 million move from Russian side Krasnodar back in January 2017, and hasn’t played for the Scottish Champions since October 2018 in a Betfred Cup tie against Hearts.

Kouassi is yet to kick a ball under Neil Lennon and it seems his time in Glasgow is coming to an end after he was pictured training with Genk.

Belgian news outlet hbvl.be are claiming Kouassi is on the brink of completing his transfer to Genk, with Celtic giving permission for the Ivorian to join-up with his prospective new team-mates.

Celtic fans were pretty excited when Kouassi first arrived in Scotland, with plenty of supporters claiming he could be a long-term replacement for Scott Brown, but what do you think of impending exit?
