Steven Gerrard ‘Confident’ of Adding to Rangers Squad Before Window Slams Shut

Rangers manager Steven Gerrard says he’s confident he’ll be able to add to his squad before the transfer window slams shut this weekend.

Gerrard and every other manager in Scotland has until midnight on Friday night to sign players, or they’ll be forced to wait until the summer for another chance to make additions to their ranks.

Given Alfredo Morelos has been regularly suspended over the last 18 months or so, and Jermain Defoe picked up an injury in Wednesday evening’s 2-0 win over Ross County, the idea of bringing in a third senior striker could be high on Gerrard’s to-do list.

And speaking to the media following the victory over County at Ibrox, Gerrard admitted he’s keen to bring one player through the entrance door:

As we told you on Sunday, there’s plenty of Rangers supporters who’d be keen to see another forward arrive before Saturday – but do you think it’ll happen?

And can you think of any players who could fit the bill?
