Neil Lennon Gives Latest Update On Ismaila Soro Signing For Celtic

Neil Lennon has given a further update on Ismaila Soro’s move to Celtic.

The Ivory Coast midfielder is on the verge of signing for the Hoops, with Lennon revealing last week that a deal had been agreed, but the paperwork had yet to be finalised.

So far there has been no official announcement from the club on Soro.

But Lennon has now given an update on where that deal is – and it’s good news for Celtic fans.

The Northern Irish manager has revealed that Soro is having a medical today and that he could be days away from arriving in Glasgow to confirm the deal.

Speaking at a press conference ahead of Celtic’s clash with Kilmarnock at Rugby Park tomorrow night:

There are 11 days remaining of the January transfer window so Celtic do have plenty of time to get the Soro deal over the line.

But can fans expect more new incomings before the end of the month?
