Plenty of Rangers Fans Reckon It Was a Mistake to Loan Out Jamie Murphy to Burton Albion

Jamie Murphy has left Rangers on loan this evening for the rest of the season – but there’s plenty of Gers fans who reckon the winger should’ve been kept at the club.

The 30-year-old attacker has endured an injury-plagued spell at Ibrox ever since joining on a three-year deal back in January 2018, and has managed just four Premiership appearances for Steven Gerrard’s side, the last of which came on October 30 against Ross County.

Having fully recovered from a serious knee injury, Murphy obviously feels he needs game-time to get back to full speed and he’s linked up with his former manager Nigel Clough at Burton Albion for the rest of the campaign.

But is Murphy perhaps a better option out wide than the likes of Brandon Barker, Sheyi Ojo and even Jordan Jones? Well, it seems there’s plenty of supporters of that school of thought:

Do you think Murphy has done the right thing by going out on loan?
