Serbian Media Claim Napoli Have Bid £10M for Rangers Flop Umar Sadiq

Rangers flop Umar Sadiq has been the subject of a shock £10 million bid from Serie A giants Napoli, according to reports in Serbia today.

Striker Sadiq, 22, joined Gers on a season-long loan deal at the start of the 2018/19 campaign from Roma, but only made four appearances before it was terminated by the end of the year.

The low point of his time in Glasgow came in last season’s Betfred Cup semi-final defeat to Aberdeen where he was booked for diving to try and win a penalty, but it seems things are looking up for Sadiq’s career.

Now on-loan at Partizan Belgrade, Sadiq is being targeted by Napoli, according to Serbian news outlet Mozzart Sport.

To be fair, Sadiq has scored an impressive 15 goals in 26 appearances for Partizan this season – so could he perhaps end up being a decent investment for a club like Napoli?
