Video: Watch Karamoko Dembele & Luca Connell Score in Impressive Fashion for Celtic Colts

Celtic youngsters Karamoko Dembele and Luca Connell reminded Neil Lennon exactly what they can do in last night’s City of Glasgow Cup tie against Clyde.

Both players have been on the periphery of the Hoops first-team for the entire season, with Connell still waiting on making his senior debut since joining the Scottish Champions from Bolton last summer.

Dembele make his European debut for Lennon’s senior side earlier this season, and he definitely looks like he’s continued to develop at a pretty remarkable rate – as Clyde found out to their cost in their 4-1 defeat:

Given Scott Sinclair has moved on to Preston North End, and Mohamed Elyounoussi is still struggling with an injury, could either Connell or Dembele soon make the permanent leap into the first-team?

Celtic continue their return from the winter break on Wednesday night against Kilmarnock – but where else do you think Lennon and co should be adding to their ranks before February 1?
