Video: Liverpool Youngster Curtis Jones Scores Absolute Screamer Against Everton

Liverpool midfielder Curtis Jones scored his first-ever senior goal in professional football this evening – and it was an absolute screamer against Merseyside rivals Everton.

The 18-year-old midfielder has been on the fringes of Klopp’s star-studded squad all season, and even made an appearance in the Premier League against Bournemouth on December 7, meaning he was in pole position for a start in today’s FA Cup third round tie at Anfield.

The Reds left most of their big names at home for today’s occasion, allowing for an opportunity for players like Jones, and by God did he take his.

Midway through the second-half, the teen audaciously aimed a right-footed curler at Jordan Pickford’s left-hand corner – and, well, the clip speaks for itself:

With the likes of Harvey Elliot, Nico Williams, Rhian Brewster and Ben Woodburn also pushing for top-team slots at Anfield, do Liverpool have the most exciting crop of young players in the country at the moment?
