Video: Daniel Stendel Says Berra Has Been Treated with Respect and is Happy with Hickey’s AC Milan Links

Hearts manager Daniel Stendel has insisted skipper Christophe Berra has been treated with respect – whilst claiming he’s happy to see AC Milan linked with teenage full-back Aaron Hickey.

Stendel has been hard at work attempting to transform the Tynecastle club during Scottish football’s winter break and one of his major transformations has been telling Berra he has no future with the Jambos.

The ex-Barnsley boss addressed the media this afternoon ahead of this weekend’s Scottish Cup tie at home to Airdrie and gave his thoughts on the current situation surrounding the 34-year-old centre-back:

And on Hickey, who has also been linked with Man City, Stendel added how happy he is to see the teen now being mentioned in the same breath as Italian giants Milan:
