Alfredo Morelos Says European Champions Liverpool Are ‘Aware’ of Him

Rangers striker Alfredo Morelos has claimed world and European champions Liverpool are ‘aware’ of him – with Jurgen Klopp‘s side now favourites to sign the Colombian hitman in the summer.

Morelos has smashed in a stunning 29 goals in all competitions for Steven Gerrard’s Gers so far this season, and looks set to start Wednesday night’s Ladbrokes Premiership clash against Hibs at Ibrox.

As we’ve told you previously, Morelos has been linked with a move to the English Premier League with Aston Villa, but Morelos has sensationally claimed Klopp’s all-conquering team are keeping tabs on him.

Speaking during an interview with Radio Caracol in his homeland, via the Mirror, Morelos said of Liverpool: “I think they are aware (of me).

“I imagine that is the case with the coach we have, who played for Liverpool for so long.

“I imagine he has friends and directors who come to the games, as well as scouts from other teams. It’s a motivation to keep doing well.

“There many interested clubs, let’s wait until the end of the season to see which leagues are asking for me and then I can make a decision.

“If God grants me the opportunity to go to a good club, it will happen.”

Moreover, the Sun are reporting Liverpool are now the 12/1 favourites to capture the Rangers forward in the summer’s transfer window – but do you think Morelos can cut it at such an elite club?
