FAST FORWARD

The next two weekends are a tale of two haves. This week we have not and next week we certainly do have!

Let us start with this weekend and tonight, Saturday the 15th of February in Nashville, Tennessee Caleb Plant takes on Vincent Feigenbutz for the IBF super middleweight title. This is the biggest fight of the weekend and Plant has to be the simple favourite – don’t’ he…

In York Hall domestic action gets covered by welterweights Larry Ekundayo and Nathan Hardy facing off, welterweight Harley Benn taking on Dylan Draper, super middleweight Fred Evans up against Wilmer Gonzalez and one time prospect heavyweight Dominic Akinlade taking on Phil Williams – home wins all round… these are a part of a 15 fight bill.

They are joined domestically with a 2 fight bill on Monday the 17th of February inWestcliff-on-Sea .

On Friday the 21st the February in York Hall the highly exciting Golden Contract semi finals are at super lightweight with Ohara Davies, Tyrone McKenna, Mohamad Mimoune and Jeff Ofri and at featherweight with Tyrone McCullagh, James Dickens, Leigh Wood and Ryan Walsh. This has lit the scene up and I love some of the videos and promotional work being done for these fights. They get to chose who they face on Tuesday and it should be a cracking night of four highly competitive fights.

Over in Barnsley there is a low key return for heavyweight Kash Ali who takes on Josh Sandland who acquitted himself well in the Ultimate Boxxer championship at heavyweight. Ali should be able to get himself back into the mix successfully here.

Also, in Doncaster there are 3 fights, and in Taunton 7 fights.
