Jeremie Frimpong Teases Scott Brown Over His Reunion with Kieran Tierney

Jeremie Frimpong Teases Scott Brown Over His Reunion with Kieran Tierney

Scott Brown has been enjoying his day off this week by catching up with old pal Kieran Tierney – much to the amusement of his Celtic team-mate Jeremie Frimpong.

Tierney and Brown were both formidable forces in during Brendan Rodgers’ all-conquering Hoops sides in the previous two or three years, before Tierney departed and followed Rodgers to the English Premier League last summer.

The Scotland left-back has been recovering from a dislocated shoulder but he’s been back in training recently and he and Brown seemed in high spirits as they met-up earlier today – although Frimpong seized upon the opportunity to slag his captain off a little bit:

He might be still only 19, but you can tell that Jeremie Frimpong is already one of the strongest personalities in that Celtic dressing room, eh?

As a Celtic fan, does this make you miss Tierney bombing down the left-flank on match days?

And do you think Brown will shrug off his calf injury in time for Thursday’s Europa League last-32 showdown with Copenhagen?
