Plenty of Man Utd Fans Rave About ‘World Class’ Eric Bailly After Chelsea Win

Manchester United secured a potentially season-changing victory over Chelsea tonight and the club’s supporters are lavishing praise on defender Eric Bailly.

The centre-back has been plagued by injury during his three-and-a-half year stay in English football, and hadn’t made a solitary Premier League appearance before this evening’s clash at Stamford Bridge and, initially, wasn’t even meant to be playing.

Victor Lidelof was expected to be partnering Harry Maguire in the centre of United’s defence but the Swede fell ill on Monday afternoon – leaving the path clear for Bailly to stake his claim.

And the Ivory Coast international seems to have done exactly that, with his powerful, pacy and composed play helping his side to a crucial victory, with Bailly providing a particularly impressive last-ditch tackle on Mateo Kovačić late in the game.
