Rangers fans have been left seriously impressed by new signing Ianis Hagi following the attacking midfielder’s crucial first goal for the club against Hibs.
The 21-year-old is the son of Romanian legend Gheorghe Hagi and judging by his display at Ibrox in Wednesday night’s 2-1 victory, Ianis has certainly inherited some of his old man’s mesmeric skills.
Having joined Rangers from Genk on-loan until the end of the season, Hagi was handed his first start against Jack Ross’s Hibs and scored the winning goal in the 84th minute and completed Steven Gerrard’s side’s comeback from 1-0 down.
It might’ve only been his first start for his new club but it seems Hagi already has plenty of admirers amongst the Gers fanbase tonight:
How impressed have you been by Hagi so far, and have you ever seen a player in Scottish football as comfortable with the ball at either feet?
