Rangers Fans Rave About George Edmundson’s Performance After Colossal Display Against Braga

Rangers fans are raving about George Edmundson this evening following the big centre-half’s commanding display against Braga.

The 22-year-old, who was signed from Oldham Athletic last summer, was surprisingly thrown in to start this evening’s Europa League last-32 tie in Portugal, and it’s fair to say he was magnificent throughout.

Ryan Kent’s excellently-taken second-half goal was enough to seal a 1-0 away win and ensure at least one Scottish team makes it to Friday’s last-16 draw – and ensures Rangers make the last-16 of a major European competition for the first time in nine years.

Steven Gerrard’s side have struggled defensively since the end of the winter break but Edmundson’s never-say-die attitude has won him plenty of plaudits amongst the Rangers fanbase tonight:

Should Edmundson now be given a run in the Rangers starting XI between now and the end of the season, alongside Connor Goldson?
