Video: George Edmundson Describes Braga Win as ‘One of the Best Days of My Life’

Rangers defender George Edmundson put in a virtuoso display away to Braga tonight – and then described the 90 minutes as one of the best days of his life.

The 22-year-old centre-back was thrown in for a surprise start in tonight’s Europa League last-32 second-leg clash in Portugal and is winning rave reviews from punters for a commanding and assured display in what only his eighth start for the Ibrox club since moving from Oldham last summer.

Edmundson was absolutely faultless throughout the entire match, winning several crucial high balls and keeping out the classy hosts on their own patch, alongside fellow impressive defender Connor Goldson.

Speaking to BT Sport after the match, Edmundson was understandably delighted with how his game had gone, and was pretty effusive when describing just how much it meant to him:

Do you think Edmundson should now be one of the first-choice centre-backs until the end of the current season at least?
