Hibernian manager Jack Ross has described Florian Kamberi‘s comments since joining Rangers on-loan as ‘unusual’ – and admitted it’ll be ‘much more challenging’ to reintegrate him back into the Hibs squad.
The Swiss-born forward departed Easter Road for Ibrox on transfer deadline day, penning a deal to remain in Govan until the end of the season, and immediately ingratiated himself to the Rangers support by declaring the move his ‘dream’.
However, Kamberi is Rangers’ third-choice striker behind Jermain Defoe and Alfredo Morelos, and has a contract with Hibs until the summer of 2021, but Ross has today admitted he found the remarks after joining Rangers strange – and concedes bringing him back to the Edinburgh side could be tricky:
Do you think Kamberi will have much of a tangible impact on Rangers between now and May, and is there any way you could see him playing for Hibs again next season?
