Jamie Carragher and Roy Keane debating Liverpool‘s team now versus Manchester United‘s 1999 side is a must-watch.
The pair appeared on Sky Sports’ Monday Night Football coverage of Chelsea v Manchester United at Stamford Bridge last night.
It was always bound to be a great entertainment with Carragher and Keane clashing on Sky Sports previously.
But their debate over picking a combined XI between the players in the Liverpool team now and Manchester United’s treble-winning side of 1999 is essential viewing.
As expected, Carragher is a big fan of Jurgen Klopp’s side, but Keane is loyal to the players he won the league, FA Cup and Champions League with back in 1999.
So who makes the combined XI? You’ll be surprised to see what they end up with:
Who do you agree with more – Carragher or Keane?
Liverpool currently lead the English Premier League table by 25 points without losing a single game so far.
And it’s looking increasingly difficult to see who will beat them between now and the end of the season.
