Celtic manager Neil Lennon has described today’s win over Aberdeen as a ‘massive three points in the context of the title race’.
The Hoops were made to work for their victory in the Granite City this afternoon by coming out on top 2-1, thanks to goals from Callum McGregor and Kristoffer Ajer, either side of Ash Taylor’s equaliser for the home side.
The victory put Celtic a whopping 13 points clear at the top of the Premiership table ahead of Rangers’ clash with Livingston, and keeps the quest for a ninth successive league title firmly in their hands.
Speaking to Sky Sports afterwards, Lennon acknowledged the significance of the win, and conceded it could turn out to be a massive afternoon in the destination of the Ladbrokes Premiership title:
Do you think Celtic can be stopped by anyone at all in their march towards more silverware?
