Video: Neil Lennon Describes Celtic’s Win at Hamilton as a ‘Wonderful Day’

Celtic manager Neil Lennon has praised his players from their come-from-behind win at Hamilton Accies this afternoon – describing the 4-1 victory as a ‘wonderful day’ for the Parkhead club.

The Hoops went into today’s Ladbrokes Premiership clash knowing the significance three points could have on the title race, after Rangers’ failure to beat Aberdeen in yesterday’s 0-0 draw at Ibrox.

But the home side weren’t about to lie down, and Marios Ogkmpoe gave Hamilton a deserved 1-0 lead after 26 minutes courtesy of a thumping header after some poor Celtic defending.

However, Jamie Hamilton’s red card for pulling down Leigh Griffiths changed the flow of the game, and an Odsonne Edouard-inspired display saw Lennon’s side claim all three points – and go seven-points clear at the top of the table:

Whilst Celtic are now seven points ahead, Rangers do have a game in-hand, but was this weekend’s round of fixtures turn out to be crucial in the title race?
