Neil Lennon has given an early update on Scott Brown’s injury after Celtic’s draw with Copenhagen.
The Hoops manager faced the media following the 1-1 draw in Denmark in the first leg of their Europa League last-32 first leg.
And while he shared his disappointment at how Celtic lost their way in the game, he did praise the performance overall as well as the vital penalty save from Fraser Forster.Embed from Getty Images
Lennon also gave an early update on the injury that forced Brown out of the game after 73 minutes.
There was no clear incident from what we could see that would cause Brown’s injury.
But Lennon has now shared what the issue is with his captain:
Celtic will be desperate to have Brown fit for the visit of Copenhagen to Glasgow next week.
He’s been in strong form this season so far and would be a big miss for the Hoops if he was to be injured for any length of time.
