Scott Arfield opened the scoring for Rangers against Hamilton this afternoon.
In the early Scottish Cup game this weekend, it’s Brian Rice’s side welcoming Steven Gerrard and his men to the Foundation of Youth Stadium.
And it was Rangers who started the better in the game, with Arfield scoring the first after Alfredo Morelos was taken down in the box.
Morelos burst on to a loose ball in the box and was brought to the ground by Accies centre back Jamie Hamilton.
As both Morelos and James Tavernier have missed penalties this season, responsibility for the spotkick passed on to Arfield.
And he actually missed it, before reacting to tap home the rebound:
Hamilton have now equalised in the game, with Lewis Smith scoring their leveller 10 minutes before half-time.
The winner will go through to the quarter-finals of the Scottish Cup, with the rest of the last 16 playing over the next day.
