Video: Steven Gerrard Calls Rangers ‘Outstanding’ After ‘Big Win’ Over Hibs

Rangers boss Steven Gerrard has praised his ‘outstanding’ players after Wednesday night’s crucial victory at home to Hibs.

Following Saturday’s underwhelming 0-0 stalemate against Aberdeen at Ibrox, collecting all three points against Jack Ross’s side became even more important than usual and the win looked in doubt following Paul Hanlon’s opener for the Edinburgh club on 35 minutes.

However, George Edmundson’s equaliser and Ianis Hagi’s late winner turned things around and sealed the comeback, and now Gerrard has lavished praise on his players’ character and willpower:

After Celtic’s 4-0 win away to Motherwell, Rangers remain seven points behind their arch Glasgow enemies but have played one game fewer than Neil Lennon’s side, and will take on Hamilton in the Scottish Cup fifth round this weekend.

But what do you think of Gerrard’s comments, and his side’s general performance levels since returning from their warm-weather training camp in Dubai last month?
