Video: Steven Gerrard Goes Mental in Celebrations After Rangers Comeback

Steven Gerrard went absolutely mental in the celebrations following Ianis Hagi’s winning goal against Braga tonight.

The Rangers manager watched on as the Romanian playmaker’s deflected effort hit the back of the net to complete an incredible comeback at Ibrox.

Braga had led the game 2-0 through goals from Fransergio and Abel Ruiz.

But Hagi’s goal started the comeback before Joe Aribo levelled the scoreline shortly after.

And it was up to Hagi to get the all-important winner, benefitting from a little bit of luck to send Ibrox – and his manager – wild.

BT Sport made sure to have a camera on Gerrard for the free-kick – and his reaction is understandably mental:

What a night at Ibrox!

Now Rangers will travel to Portugal next week with the advantage in the tie.

Braga were impressive for much of the game and quite rightly held a 2-0 lead on the hour mark, but they faded badly in the last half an hour and that will give Rangers plenty of confidence for next week.
