Steven Gerrard tested out the Ibrox pitch moments before the Rangers game was called off this afternoon.
The Gers were set to go up against Livingston in the Ladbrokes Premiership at 3pm.
But a pitch inspection was required at Ibrox following heavy rainfall as a result of Storm Dennis hitting the UK.
The pitch in Govan hadn’t looked great over recent games so it was always going to be difficult for it to cope.
And it’s now been confirmed that Ibrox won’t play host to Rangers v Livingston today as a result.
Gerrard himself was out on the park pre-match testing the surface:
Looking at it, you can see why the officials decided to postpone the game.
Now Celtic have the opportunity to move 13 points clear at the top of the Premiership table if they can beat Aberdeen tomorrow.
They already have a 10-point lead, with Rangers having a game in hand to play.
But it could be 13 with two games in hand for Rangers by the end of the weekend and that would put the champions in a commanding spot at the top.
