Jason Cundy believes Celtic have shamed Scottish football with their exit from the Europa League.
The talkSPORT pundit forms part of the radio station’s The Sports Bar team and reacted to all of the Europa League action last night.
Celtic exited the competition at the hands of Copenhagen, with the Danes winning 3-1 at Celtic Park to advance to the last-16 4-2 on aggregate.
Their rivals Rangers advanced the night before, beating Braga 1-0 away to seal a 4-2 aggregate victory for themselves.
And while that was a boost for Scottish football, Cundy believes Celtic’s result has shamed the nation:
He can’t be serious, right?
Rangers and Celtic have been impressive for the majority of their European campaigns this season and it was far from a given that they would both make the knockout stages considering their difficult groups.
Rangers will now face Bayer Leverkusen in the last-16 of the Europa League after the draw was made earlier.
