Video: West Ham Fans Unveil Black Balloons Protest at Board Before Kick-Off Against Liverpool

West Ham supporters showed their utter disgust and disdain towards the club’s board this evening by unfurling dozens of black balloons before kick-off against Liverpool.

West Ham’s owners David Gold and David Sullivan, and vice-chairman Karren Brady have faced backlash from sections of the Hammers’ fanbase over their handling of club affairs.

And tonight travelling supporters made their latest stand against the current regime, by releasing black balloons inside Anfield, with each balloon said to represent the current disenchantment amongst them.

Accompanying the balloons were several banners directing stinging attacks towards the trio, and demanding they all leave their positions at the London Stadium ASAP:

Should they lose tonight’s game away to the European Champions, David Moyes and his players will find themselves in the Premier League’s bottom-three spots – and staring down the barrel of a dogged relegation fight until May.

What do you think of the fan protest?
