Barcelona Goalie Marc-André ter Stegen Reveals His Affection for Celtic Park

Barcelona goalkeeper Marc-André ter Stegen has revealed his soft spot for Celtic Park – and insists he’d love to experience the stadium one more time.

The 27-year-old is widely regarded as one of the best goalies in European football after establishing himself as the Catalan club’s out-and-out No1 in the last few seasons, and he’s already played a key role in winning four La Liga titles and the Champions League since moving to Spain six years ago.

Ter Stegen has played in just about every first-class footballing cathedral there is, but which one is his favourite?

Well, it seems Parkhead would take some beating:

Ter Stegen was between the sticks when Barcelona travelled to Glasgow to take on Celtic in the Champions League group stages during the 2016/17 season, and helped his side win 2-0 thanks to a Leo Messi double.

But what do you think of his praise for the Hoops’ ground?
