Celtic Fans Lavish Praise on Ryan Christie After Reaching Scottish Cup Semi-Finals

Celtic saw off a stubborn St Johnstone side in Perth this afternoon, and plenty of the club’s supporters are lavishing praise on Ryan Christie for his part in the 1-0 victory.

In a Scottish Cup tie of few clear-cut opportunities, Christie’s whipped free-kick evaded everybody in the penalty box in the 81st minute, and flew past a helpless Zander Clark in the Saints goal, and fired the Hoops into their ninth Scottish Cup semi in the last 10 seasons.

Moreover, the victory keeps Neil Lennon’s side on course for an unprecedented and remarkable fourth consecutive domestic treble, and there’s a lot of fans who are this afternoon recognising the significant input Christie has had on their quest throughout this season:

If Christie is indeed awarded today’s winning goal as his own, the 25-year-old will have 20 goals in all competitions so far this season, but how highly do you rate the Scotland international?
