Furious Spurs Fans Start #MourinhoOut Trending on Twitter After Champions League Exit in Leipzig

A lot of angry Tottenham supporters have started ‘#MourinhoOut’ trending on social media this evening following the club’s abject exit to RB Leipzig in the Champions League.

After losing 1-0 to the free-flowing German side in North London two weeks ago, Mourinho and his players travelled to Germany for tonight’s return leg needing a massive display to turn things around, but it simply didn’t materialise.

Marcel Sabitzer scored twice in the first 21 minutes to make it 3-0 on aggregate and Mission Impossible for Spurs, and Emil Forsberg added another after half-time to seal their fate.

The impressive Julian Nagelsmann and his players now progress to the Champions League quarter-finals – but it’s not looking too rosy for the once self-proclaimed Special One:

RB Leipzig weren’t even formed in 2008, when Spurs last won a major trophy, and Julian Nagelsmann was 16 when Mourinho won the Champions League with Porto in 2004.

But does Mourinho deserve to be sacked from Spurs already?
