Jubilant Hearts Fans Applaud Daniel Stendel for ‘Transforming’ Team After Away Win Over Hibs

Hearts fans are showering manager Daniel Stendel with effusive praise following their emphatic win over bitter rivals Hibs at Easter Road.

The Jambos went to the home of the arch enemies rock-bottom of the Ladbrokes Premiership and firm underdogs to take all three points, whilst Hibs, meanwhile, were coming off a five-game unbeaten run in all competitions and had the opportunity to go into fifth spot with a victory.

However, after an even first-half the game exploded into life in the 53rd minute when Hearts were awarded a penalty after a slightly bizarre handball by Scott Allan.

Sean Clare scored from the spot, and he was joined on the score-sheet by team-mates Oli Bozanic and Conor Washington, as Stendel guided his side to all three points.

It might’ve taken the German coach a while to settle into Scottish football but it seems Stendel is winning plenty of admirers for his classy style of play:

Hearts are now off the bottom of the Premiership, but do you think they’ll be able to go on a run that’ll see them escape the relegation dogfight?
