Video: Neil Lennon Insists Celtic Were ‘Brilliant’ and ‘Outstanding’ at Livingston

Celtic dropped two points in their quest to retain the Premiership title away to Livingston on Wednesday night but manager Neil Lennon insists his players were nothing short of outstanding.

In a hard-fought contest, Celtic were made to wait until the final three minutes in order to claim a 2-2 draw, with Tom Rogic getting the late equaliser after coming on as a second-half substitute.

Ordinarily, dropping two points against anyone at this stage of the season would be seen as a setback for the Hoops but given Rangers contrived to lose 1-0 at home to Hamilton at the same time, Lennon and his players were actually able to extend their lead at the top of the table to 13 points.

And speaking to BT Sports after the full-time whistle, Lennon seemed keen to focus on the positive aspects of his team’s display, rather than labouring over where it could’ve been better:

Surely now, with 13 points between them, there’s no realistic chance Rangers can stage a comeback to catch their old foes now?
