Its beginning to look a little like normal though of course the UK will have no boxing until July – at the earliest and with Frank Warren, BIBA and Eddie Hearn announcing events or announcing the planning of events, this does look like things have entered phase 1 of post boxing lockdown.
On Saturday the 20th of June we head to Mexico where featherweight Emanuel Navarrete takes on Uriel Lopez in what is essentially a keep busy fight as Lopez should pose absolutely no threat. Also, down to the south of the USA we have, in Managua, Nicaragua lightweight Francisco Fonseca facing Eusebio Osejo in what should be another step towards getting the sport back on its feet.
On Sunday the 21st June in Odessa, Ukraine we have 8 fights happening.
Bob Arum continues his twice weekly show at The Bubble which is part of MGM Grand and on Tuesday the 23rd of June in Las Vegas the WBA super flyweight title fight is between Andrew Moloney and Joshua Franco. Then on Thursday the 25th of June back in Las Vegas bantamweight Jason Moloney takes on Oscar Negrete with a Moloney double expected whilst lightweight Abraham Nova will be expected to get the nod over Avery Sparrow.
On the same night in Moscow there is 1 scheduled fight whilst towards the end of the week, on Friday the 26th June we have 8 fights in Tijuana and 4 in Texas.
