John Guidetti may have dropped his biggest hint yet that he has no future at Celtic after failing to celebrate his goal against Dundee United yesterday.
The Manchester City loanee put the Hoops 2-0 up in the Premiership clash, but his lack of emotion afterwards said a lot about how he feels at the moment.
When asked about Guidetti’s behaviour in the post-match press conference, Celtic boss Ronny Delia said:
I don’t know. Maybe it’s something he learned on YouTube. You need to ask him.
Guidetti’s latest sulk comes only days after Kris Commons blasted him in the press following an argument between the Swede and James Forrest over a penalty kick in the League Cup Final.
Commons claimed that their actions had put a dampner on the trophy win and that no player should be throwing strops on a football park.
Guidetti’s loan deal from Manchester City is up in the summer and speculation is that he could be on his way back to Feyenoord on a permenant deal. When asked about the matter, he claimed;
If Feyenoord can make space for Dirk Kuyt, they can make space for John.
It remains to be seen where the Swedish forward will end up, but on yesterday’s indications, it’s not looking like Parkhead.
