Mike Tomlin decided the reliable arm of Ben Roethlisberger wasn’t enough for the Pittsburgh Steelers – so he’d let Antonio Brown throw instead.
In tonight’s season opener at the New England Patriots, the Steelers pulled a trick play out of the hat after just minutes of the first quarter as Brown took on the role of QB.
Unfortunately for Tomlin and the visitors, Bill Belichick’s defense was wise to the move and quickly shut down Brown for the sack.
But must unfortunately for Brown, it backfired badly:

New England and Pittsburgh are still level at 0-0 halfway through the first quarter (at the time of writing).
And it could be a long, low scoring night if Tomlin and the Steelers to decide to get the ball into Brown’s hands in the backfield and ask him to throw it.
