Nathaniel Clyne Gets Hands on First Trophy as a Liverpool Player

Nathaniel Clyne has got his hands on his first trophy as a Liverpool player – but it didn’t come while playing for the Anfield side.

Brendan Rodgers’ men are languishing 13th in the English Premier League after six games of the new season and will need to drastically improve if they’re to challenge for the title.

And given the club last won a trophy in 2012, they could be waiting a little while longer to get their hands on another with Rodgers’ team gelling together after a number of summer signings.

But at least Clyne – a £12.5million signing from Southampton – has got that winning feeling.

He joined Rio Ferdinand, Ashley Williams, Adebayo Akinfenwa, Wilfried Zaha, Jason Puncheon and more at the FIFA 16 Launch event in London yesterday.

And he managed to come out on top in the Celeb Cup:

The event was organised ahead of the release of the new FIFA 16 game on Thursday.

Liverpool fans will surely be hoping they can see Clyne and their heroes bring home more silverware to Anfield later this term.
