Everton’s Tim Howard Shows Off Flight Comforts … Nick Rimando Replies With Hilarious Response

Everton’s Tim Howard travelled to the United States today as his side prepare to face Costa Rica in an international friendly next week.

After helping his side take a point from yesterday’s Merseyside derby – a game which ended Brendan Rodgers’ reign as Liverpool manager – the veteran could enjoy his flight to Los Angeles … and he did so in style.

The 36-year-old Tweeted a photo of his flight to Los Angeles where he showed off his glamorous watch, designer iPad case.

With a reported salary of £2.6 million it’s no surprise to see Howard living the flashy lifestyle as he jets home to represent his country.

After all, the riches of the Premier League are no secret with the top teams spending hundreds of millions to fight for the title every year.

However, what wasn’t apparent before today was the gulf between England’s top flight and the MLS as Nick Rimando of the Real Salt Lake replying to Howard with this brilliant Tweet:

Poor Nick. At least he has that fantastic in-flight magazine we all read …
