Martyn Waghorn now has more league goals this season than Lionel Messi and Cristiano Ronaldo combined.
The English striker has been in red-hot form since signing for Rangers from Wigan in the summer.
He’s now got 13 goals in the Scottish Championship after scoring two in his side’s 4-0 victory over Alloa today.
And the two-goal show sparked this brilliant tweet from league sponsors Ladbrokes:

They’re completely correct too – with Ronaldo having scored eight goals in La Liga this term, while Messi – who is currently recovering from injury – lags behind with just three.
So Waghorn’s total of 13 in the league is more than the two best players in the world combined.
But we all know that’s all relative to the opposition in front of the Rangers striker and the quality both Ronaldo and Messi face week in and week out.
Regardless of comparisons, Rangers must join Mark Warburton and his squad in loving the form of the former Wigan striker.
They bounced back from a disappointing 2-1 league defeat to Hibs last week with today’s win and go into a favourable run of fixtures in which you’d expect Waghorn to continue getting in among the goals.
Rangers face Livingston after the international break before taking on Dumbarton, Raith Rovers and Greenock Morton before travelling to Falkirk a week before Christmas.
