Everton look to really be developing into a decent side under Roberto Martinez.
After a promising 5th place finish in the Premier League during his first season in charge, the Toffees could only muster up an 11th place effort last term, as the club flirted on and off with relegation.
But the blue half of Merseyside have really picked up this campaign, with Romelu Lukaku, Steven Naismith, and Gerard Deulofeu all chipping in with regular excellent performances.
Martinez and his players currently find themselves 9th in the table, 7 points off the top four, but with Chelsea’s problems continuing apace, a push for the Champions League after Christmas can’t yet be 100% ruled out.
But the one outstanding thing to emerge from Martinez’s reign so far is his newly found scouse accent.
The Spaniard gave an interview to Sky following Saturday’s 1-1 draw with West Ham, and several fans quickly spotted the Liverpudlian influence on his usually exotic Iberian tones.
If you haven’t heard it yet, sit back, relax and enjoy this little beauty…

We seriously hope this continues to develop over the season.
