Jamie Carragher Reveals Sky Sports’ Plans For Replacing Gary Neville on Monday Night Football

Jamie Carragher Reveals Sky Sports’ Plans For Replacing Gary Neville on Monday Night Football

Fans of serious, in-depth and matey football analysis  all over the country shed a tear when it was revealed that Gary Neville was taking the Valencia job, and leaving Monday Night Football in the process.

Neville and his Sky Sports buddies Ed Chamberlain, and, of course, Jamie Carragher, have worked together over the last two seasons to form the backbone of the satellite company’s flagship sports show.

And with Neville heading for pastures new, rumours have been rife regarding who may replace the former Manchester United right-back, with even Michael Owen linked with the vacant post last week.

But finally, after fervent speculation, Carragher has finally broken his silence on the future of Monday Night Football, and put fans’ fears to bed in the process…

So, it appears that they’ll go down the route of a road show style production every week, rather than seeking a permanent replacement for Nev.

Wonder who they’ll get on for tomorrow night’s Everton v Crystal Palace clash…

Lets face it, no one could replace Gary Neville, so this is the only solution, right?
