Steven Gerrard is Dreading Playing With Jamie Carragher Again For One Reason

Steven Gerrard will pull on Liverpool’s famous red shirt once again when he turns out in a legends XI later this month.

The iconic former Reds captain will be joined by ex-team-mate Jamie Carragher for the eagerly awaited gathering in Australia, but whilst he’s pleased to be reunited with Carra, he admits there’s one thing he’s absolutely dreading about the reunion.

Gerrard – now with LA Galaxy – told club website liverpoolfc.com:

“I’m not worried about the player because the player will never let you down. I’m just more worried about that constant voice in my ear for two hours!”

“I’m not looking forward to that, definitely not!”

Harsh words from Stevie G. But, they did play over 700 games together for the Merseyside giants so, if anyone can testify how annoying Carragher’s voice is, it’s probably Gerrard.

The pair take on an Australian legends XI in Sydney on January 7, when fellow ex-Reds Harry Kewell, Luis Garcia and Didi Hamman are all expected to take part.
