Celtic’s Eric Sviatchenko Was so Delighted With Winning Goal He Was Elbowed in the Face

Celtic defender Eric Sviatchenko was as delighted as any fan in Rugby Park when Tom Rogic grabbed a last minute winner for the club in their game against Kilmarnock, and when he joined his teammates in celebrating with the travelling crowd he received an elbow in the face for his troubles.

The Hoops dominated possession in their Ladbrokes Premiership clash with Lee Clark’s relegation threatened side, however, failed to find a breakthrough until Australian substitute Rogic pulled out a wonder goal from nowhere to give his side all three points.

The result means Ronny Deila’s side are now four points clear of Aberdeen who face sick bugs Motherwell this afternoon looking to keep the gap to just one point.

It was a massive result for the Scottish champions and we’re sure Danish defender Sviatchenko won’t be too fussed after his eye was cut open following an elbow he received during goal celebrations.
