John Guidetti’s Comments on Zlatan Ibrahimovic Will Get Manchester United Fans Excited

Manchester United fans will be excited reading John Guidetti‘s comments about Zlatan Ibrahimovic.

The Swedish striker is with the former Paris Saint-Germain hitman as the country prepares for Euro 2016 kicking off at the weekend.

So Guidetti is in a good place to know what Zlatan is thinking about his future.

Ibrahimovic is out of contract in Paris and has teased fans about making a big announcement later today – although it’s unclear whether that applies to his playing career or his new clothing line.

He’s been heavily linked with Manchester United and a reunion with Jose Mourinho, while a host of other clubs, such as AC Milan, LA Galaxy and Celtic, have been mentioned.

But it looks like Old Trafford will be his next home – and Guidetti’s latest comments lend themselves to that.

Speaking at Sweden’s training camp, Guidetti said, per skysports.com: “I think he knows the Manchester weather like I do.

“He will settle – anywhere he has gone, he has performed.

“He is a world-class player and is a world-class person. Any team that gets him should be very grateful.

“He is fantastic – the way he speaks with the younger players, the way he demands quality. It is a true pleasure to play with him.

“There’ll never be another Zlatan – he’s a one-off. The way he talked and behaved has inspired me.”

There’s little to no chance Zlatan will end up at City so you can take Guidetti’s Manchester weather comment as a hint that United would be his team.

Ibrahimovic had a fallout with new City boss Pep Guardiola while the pair were at Barcelona and public comments from the former suggest they still don’t see eye to eye.

Unless one of the other Manchester teams are planning an audacious bid for Zlatan? Imagine Gary Neville unveiling the super Swede at Salford City.
