Romelu Lukaku stars in a new short training film for Nike – and he’s looking in absolutely incredible shape.
With Christian Benteke seriously out of form, Lukaku is expected to lead Belgium’s front-line at Euro 2016, with the Red Devils kicking off their campaign in a mouthwatering tie against Italy on Monday.
And by the looks of things, this could be the 23-year-old’s tournament.
In the cinematic video, the Everton striker talks to the camera about his preparation for matches, as well as some of the setbacks in his career, all whilst going through his paces in the gym.
The point of the clip is supposed to emphasise the fact that although Lukaku is an absolute beast externally, he is preparing to release his ‘inner strength’ this summer.
During one of his motivational speeches, Lukaku stresses how much he wants to win the Euros, and how he feels like he’s at his top level – in an ominous warning to Belgium’s rivals.
The forward has been linked with a move to Manchester United and Chelsea this summer, and we’ve got a hunch his performance in France will add a few more zeros to his valuation.
