Joey Barton to Represent Rangers on the Golf Course After Custom Callaway Gift

Joey Barton might not be representing Rangers on the pitch anymore – but he will be on the golf course.

The Burnley midfielder has only recently got back into football with the Clarets after his short spell at Ibrox ended in November last year.

His contract with Rangers was mutually terminated after he had a fall-out with Mark Warburton and some team-mates which led him to be suspended for almost two months.

But Barton still appears to hold a fondness for the club – despite playing just eight times for them before the acrimonious split.

He was part of a Callaway golf event held at Ibrox earlier in the season and has shared the prize he got for coming out on top, obviously happy with the Rangers theme:

So even after all that was said and done during and after Barton’s time at Rangers, he still seems to have a genuine love for the club.

And big up Callaway for the design – that’s the sort of thing any fan would want for their club.
