Pretty Much Nobody Believes the Josh Windass to Hull City Stories

Hull City have today been linked with a move for Rangers midfielder Josh Windass – but it seems pretty much nobody is willing to believe the rumours.

Having arrived from Accrington Stanley on a four-year deal last July, Windass has proved to be one of the few bright spots in Mark Warburton’s signings this season, but has regularly struggled with injuries.

But, according to the Daily Express, new Hull manager Marco Silva is keen on the 23-year-old and thinks he could help the club in their fight against relegation from the Premier League, but Rangers have allegedly rebuffed their advances.

Silva has already lost Jake Livermore to West Brom and is on the verge of losing Robert Snodgrass with West Ham set to sign the Scotland international.

But is Windass really about to replace him? And for £1.5 million? According to onlookers on social media, something doesn’t add up:

What do you make of the story? Could there be anything in it?
