Video: Madden 18 Will Feature it’s Own Version of FIFA 17’s Alex Hunter

The first teaser trailer for this year’s edition of the popular NFL series Madden has dropped on YouTube this afternoon… and it seems the game will be following in FIFA 17’s footsteps.

FIFA 17 saw the introduction of fictional character Alex Hunter, a player you could control both on and off the pitch within the game.

The part of the game, which is called “The Journey”, was well-received by the game’s fanbase and it’s understood EA Sports will be looking to add to the feature for next season’s effort.

However, in the meantime EA have been working on Madden 18, which will hit stores August 25.

Despite being a staple of the American gaming scene, Madden has been accepted into the hearts of British fans and the game’s creators have clearly been inspired by the success of FIFA’s journey mode.

Yes, Madden 18 will allow you to control a character similar to Hunter… although this time you’ll be lining up against the likes of Tom Brady, Antonio Brown and Dez Bryant as you hit the gridiron:

Will Madden’s version be as successful as the original?
