Video: Sergio Ramos Caught Apparently Telling Cristiano Ronaldo to Play Act

Sergio Ramos often plays the pantomime villain during Real Madrid‘s away matches, but even for him this clip from Wednesday’s trip to Atletico Madrid is a new a low.

The Spanish World Cup winner is preparing for his third Champions League final in the last four seasons after Real saw off their bitter rivals 4-2 on aggregate in the semi-finals.

And whilst his uncompromising, no nonsense defending is a joy to behold at times, some of his below-the-belt antics are a little less palatable.

Camera’s from Wednesday night’s engaging tie appear to have picked up Ramos telling Cristiano Ronaldo to pretend as though Atletico’s Gabi had elbowed him, in order to get the midfielder shown a second yellow card.

Don’t believe us? Check it out for yourself:

To be fair, nobody should really be surprised at this point; after all, Ramos does have an astonishing 22 red cards to his name throughout his career.

What do you think of the clip?
