England Fans Reckon June 27 is a Cursed Date For Their National Team

England have been knocked out of the Under-21 European Championships – and now some supporters reckon June 27 is a cursed date for their national side.

The junior Three Lions faced-off against Germany in Poland earlier today, and after a hectic and entertaining 2-2 draw, found themselves in yet another penalty shoot-out against their old rivals.

Of course, as they always seem to do, England managed to lose, with Nathan Redmond and Tammy Abraham missing in the 4-3 defeat.

Remarkably, the loss fits into a pattern, in that the English have continuously lost on June 27 in several recent competitions.

On top of today’s result, they were knocked out of Euro 2016 to Iceland on this day last year, as well as to the Germans in the senior World Cup last-16 back in 2010.

All in all, it’s safe to say no Englishman ever wants to play on this day EVER again:

Don’t worry, England fans – it won’t be long until you’re losing in the World Cup to Germany in Russia.

Only 365 days and counting!

Do you believe in the curse?
