Ivan Perisic has been confirmed to travel with Inter Milan to China for their pre-season tour of the city.
The Croatian winger has been linked with Manchester United throughout this summer, but so far there has been no fee agreed between the clubs and no public comments have been made by either Jose Mourinho or Perisic himself.
Inter boss Luciano Spalletti did say that everything was out in the open with regards to United’s interest in Perisic.
But he’ll still travel on Inter’s flight to China, which leaves Italy at 3.30pm today, ahead of their pre-season tour of the country.
The travelling party was confirmed on inter.it this morning and United fans will be interested that Perisic was included.
Yet does it really change anything? Inter play Schalke in Changzhou on Friday before taking on Lyon in Nanjing next Monday and there’s still plenty of time for United to agree a fee with the club and Perisic to travel to the US to join up with United.
Failing that, if the move doesn’t materialise for another few weeks, then both clubs will be back from their pre-season tours and perhaps in a better position to do the deal.
United fans – are you reading into that Perisic news?
